Colon Cancer Testing
Colon cancer is also among the list of the most deadly types of cancer affecting men. The cancer affects the lower intestines. Colon cancer is more prevalent among older men which is why testing is recommended for men over 50. Men in their 40s are also advised to undergo colon cancer testing if they have a history of cancer in their family. Testing should be done at least once yearly. Men with a history of irritable bowel syndrome, inflammation or polyps are also encouraged to take colon cancer tests and seek medical attention. Typical colon cancer tests are conducted with a stool sample only.
