Headaches
Because tumors in the brain take up space, they press on other tissues in the area. this can cause pain, which is perceived as a headache. These are not ordinary headaches. They often wake people from a deep sleep and are present even when you are not stressed or tired. In addition, these headaches will not respond to normal measures such as over the counter medications.
Headaches from tumors often are worse in certain positions. In many cases they are worse when people are lying flat due to the increase in intracranial pressure. Regardless of the nature of the headache, you should get medical care whenever you have a headache that is different from ones you have had in the past.
