Unexplained Bleeding

Unexplained vaginal bleeding and nosebleeds can point to cancer. Some people do have a predisposition to nosebleeds, but if you find yourself having difficulty stemming the flow of blood, you should call a doctor. Nosebleeds and unexplained bruising often occurs when you have a low blood count, pointing to bone marrow issues and leukemia.

Another type of bleeding that you might not equate with cancer is petechiae, which looks like pinpoint bruises or a rash. This is actually subcutaneous bleeding that is caused by leukemia, lymphoma, and other cancers.
