Excessive alcohol use
Like smoking, excessive drinking is another bad health habit that can destroy your romance or marriage and even threaten your life. Alcoholism can cause stomach ulcers, cirrhosis of the liver, or pancreatitis. It is also a source of problems between partners. This is because alcohol can affect you mentally by interfering with your moods, emotions, reactions, and judgments.
You may become aggressive or abusive towards your partner or others when you drink. If you drive while under the influence of alcohol, you may end up in an accident or run into trouble with the law. A partner, especially one who isn’t an alcoholic, wouldn’t want to put up with this type of delinquent behavior and may end up leaving you.
