The Most Expensive Coffee In The World
No, the most expensive coffee is not the one made from civet droppings. That’s luwak, and a pound of that will usually set you back around $160. Now, if that made your jaw drop, get ready for this. The priciest cup of coffee is black ivory coffee at about $50 per drink. Black ivory coffee is processed in a similar manner as luwak, but instead of civets, the coffee beans are fed to elephants. Elephants cannot digest coffee beans completely, so the beans come out whole in their dung.
