Visit Your Optometrist Regularly

Even if you don’t wear glasses or contacts, once you reach 40 years old or so, your vision begins to get weaker, and depending on your overall health, you could be at risk for things like cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Visiting the optometrist regularly will help detect any diseases or conditions that could compromise your eyesight later in life. Also tell your eye doctor about any ocular diseases in your family, or if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, and other problems.
