Raspberries
If you love fruits, raspberries come highly recommended in the keto diet. This is despite the fact that fruits are packed with sugars. Unlike typical fruits, raspberries contain small amounts of net carbs i.e. approximately 3g for every ten raspberries. You can snack on as many raspberries as you want on a keto diet and still be within the carb limits. However, you only need to east a handful to get satisfied.
Nuts & Seeds
Nuts and seeds are the perfect substitute snacks given most of them are low in carbs but rich in fat. They are also great snacks because they don’t need a lot of time to prepare or special storage such as refrigeration. You can also mix many types of nuts and seeds to have a longer better snacking experience. The snack can be a perfect substitute for popcorn and chips in the evening. When choosing nuts, consider those with low net carbs since not all nuts are the same. Walnuts, pecans, almonds, sesame seeds and macadamia nuts are examples of great nuts and seeds to include.
