Dark Chocolate
You are bound to crave sweet things even when you are trying to maintain a healthy diet. You may even have a sweet tooth. You’re human! How you deal with cravings is what counts. But let’s face it! Dark chocolate isn’t the perfect snack for you if you are a milk chocolate fan, but hear me out. Eliminating sugars from your diet can change your palate. When you stop eating sweets for a while, you taste buds become stronger. You will be shocked at the foods you start calling sweet. You won’t need to take a lot of sugars to feel satisfied. You are bound to find dark chocolate incredibly sweet and creamy just like typical chocolate although you found the taste too strong before. Besides, dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants but low in carbs. Most dark chocolate contains less than 5g of carbs per serving. However, remember to read the label to confirm this.
Dips
Dips may also be a curious addition to any diet, but recommendable when you are on a ketogenic diet. That’s because, most dips contain sour cream, cream cheese, and mayonnaise. When you want to snack, try some celery with guacamole, spinach dips or artichoke. Again, don’t forget to read your labels since different dips contain different ingredients.
