Risking getting the flu puts others at risk
There are some people who believe that is better to take the chance of getting the flu and let their bodies develop the antibodies on its own. However, as we mentioned above, the flu can be potentially be deadly so not taking precautions to avoid getting exposed potentially puts others in danger not to mention potentially putting you out of commission for weeks or even put you at risk of ending up in the hospital. If you as us, it is simply irresponsible not to get vaccinated if you are able to.
Of course, like we mentioned before, getting the flu vaccine is not the best choice for everyone like those with an allergy to its ingredients. So, if you are able to and don’t you can be putting these individuals and babies under 6 months old at risk.
