Flu season in the United States typically peaks in February.
Around Valentines Day might not be the best time for the flu but the month of February is the peak of flu season in the US. So, do what you can to protect yourself and get vaccinated between October and November. But if something causes you not to, it is always better to get vaccinated than not. It is also possible that your doctor’s office or local flu clinic may run out of the vaccine so don’t think twice and go sooner rather than later.
Talk to your doctor about the potential costs of getting the flu vaccine, and keep in mind cost is dependent on which one you get.
