Turn The Music On or Off
There are a lot of people who enjoy listening to music while they work and study. Part of the reason is to block out noise distractions. Music can also help with concentration. It was found that even listening to music can sometimes reduce your ability to recall information in the near future, since it is much like trying to count while hearing someone shout random numbers. While it might be strange to study in absolute silence, your brain will thank you for cutting down the multi-tasking.
