Make A Fist

Having trouble with remembering tasks at work? Feeling overly stressed and disorganized? A stress ball might be able to help. It has been found that clenching ones fist can significantly increase the recollection.

Try this: prior to memorizing a new piece of information, clench your right hand (and if you’re left-handed, use your left hand). Then memorize the information. Once you are ready to recall the information, clench the left hand (lefties will use their right). For both times, you will need to hold the fist for about 45 seconds before opening your hands again.

The stress ball helps will making this action more relaxing, but you don’t necessarily have to use the ball to get the benefit.
