Jog Your Memory
Exercise is one of the best things you can do for your health and wellness. Even the brain receives benefits of physical activity, such as improved cognitive performance for all age groups. Exercise does more than that, though.
Any physical activity will help you feel more alert by increasing oxygen and blood flow to the brain, as well as accelerating cell growth within the regions of the brain responsible for storing and recalling memories. One study found that women experienced better recollection after periods of light intensity activity compared to their abilities before working out.
A quick walk or jog around the block during your lunch break does more than just provide short term benefits. If you continue the habit, you might notice that within six months, both your spatial and verbal memory will have increased!
