Pernicious anemia
This type of anemia occurs majorly due to lack of enough Vitamin B12 in the body. It also occurs when the body is unable to produce adequate red blood cells. Research has shown the connection between a lack of Vitamin B12 in the body and chronic hives. In 2004, one such research estimated 33% of the patients who had chronic hives also had a Vitamin B12 deficiency as well.
