A cough is our body’s way of ridding itself of phlegm and other unwelcome gunk. Although many common health issues, including the common cold and allergies, present themselves with a cough, a persistent cough that doesn’t seem to want to go away could be a sign of something more serious like lung cancer therefore see your doctor if you experience a cough lasting more than a month.
