Cancers with No Warning Signs
Unfortunately, although many types of cancers present with different warning signs, this is not always the case. For example, often those who are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer exhibit no warning signs at all. Therefore, if you have a family history of this cancer type or experience inflammation of the pancreas, it is recommended that you undergo regular cancer screenings.
Moreover, it is important to note that the warning signs we mentioned above might present themselves differently depending on an individual basis. Symptoms are never the same for two different people.
Outlook
By 2024, according to the NCI, it is expected that 19 million individuals diagnosed with cancer will survive it. However, sadly, almost half a million people within the next year will lose their fight with cancer and men are more likely to die from cancer than women.
It’s important to watch out for the warning signs mentioned above and seek medical advice even if your symptoms seem minor. Also make sure to attend annual checkups and the screenings that your doctor recommends you undergo depending on your health history and other risk factors including your family history.
