Low Red Blood Cell Count
If you happened to get blood work done and have been told that you have a low red blood cell count, this could be an indication that you anemia. Anemia is often caused by iron deficiency but in some cases it is caused by cancers such as cancer of the bowels. In order to rule out bowel cancer, your doctor might want to conduct an endoscopy, colonoscopy or X-ray of your GI tract.
