Swollen Legs, Feet, and Ankles
Do you ever look at your legs, feet, and/or ankles and feel as though they look swollen? If you press your thumb on the swollen area, does it leave a lasting impression? If so, this might be a sign that your heart is not pumping as efficiently as it should be. The reason for this? When the heart is unable to pump quickly enough it can cause blood to be backed up in the veins. This is the reason for bloating.
Our kidneys also help to remove excess water and sodium from our bodies and heart problems can lead to your kidneys being unable to do their job and in turn lead to bloating.
