Growth on the Lower Lip
If you smoke, chew tobacco or regularly expose your lips to sun, wind and the elements, you are more at risk of developing SCC. This type of SCC manifests itself as a sore that does not heal or as a thickened area on the lower lip on one’s face. This sore may also appear as a raised growth with a central depression.
As with many of the other growths described, this growth too may also bleed and ooze and has the potential to increase in size over a short time.
