Difficulty Developing Friendships
Children with Asperger’s syndrome can find it hard cultivating friendships. They may have problems connecting with their peers because they lack social skills. Most children with Asperger’s have difficulties talking to other children or participating in group activities. This may be a problem despite the fact that they may have genuine and deep interest in interacting with their peers. However, some children with the syndrome tend to have no interest in making friends and will instead prefer solitude.
