Head Lice at School
Often children are kept home from school when being treated for head lice but this is not necessary. Again, they cannot jump. It is of course important that they do not share things like hats and hairbrushes or make contact with their heads to another person’s.
Although it is important to check with your child’s school’s policy on head lice since some have a “no nits” policy.
