Get Some Fresh Air
The days are shorter, so there is less sun. Many people who live in regions with cold weather and dreary, leafless landscapes experience seasonal affective disorder (SAD), a kind of depression that results from a lack of exposure to sunshine. If you can’t figure out why you feel irritable and fatigued, it could be SAD.
To reduce the effect of seasonal affective disorder, get outside as much as possible or take a vacation to some place sunny. Enjoying the hours when the sun is shining will boost your mood, creativity, and energy. Take a quick walk during your lunch break or go for a day trip to a state park for some hiking.
