Avoid Unhealthy Comforts
All the parties make it easy to lean on alcohol and fatty, sugary foods for comfort. However, using food and drink or other unhealthy habits to cope with sadness is only going to make that depression worse. Not only is consuming copious amounts of fatty, greasy, or sugary food and alcohol terrible for the body, even in the short term, but it will affect your mental state as well.
Instead, focus on enjoying such things in moderation and work on eating healthy foods. Avoid drinking as much as possible, even if that means limiting your party-going.
