Tips for a Safe and Healthy Halloween

Move Together

There is nothing more dangerous than for children to go wandering through the foggy streets of a late October evening all alone. Whether they are off to a Halloween party at a friend’s house or going trick-or-treating, you should always ensure your kids have a chaperone or guardian present. If you cannot secure a chaperone, you should volunteer.

Parents might also want to establish a neighborhood watch that keeps tabs on the children while they are wandering about in groups. That way, if a child happens to get separated from their group, a trustworthy adult is nearby to make sure they get home safe and sound.
