Salmon
For those children with ADHD, wild-caught salmon is the healthiest fish around. The omega-3 fatty acids have important roles in brain and nerve cell functioning. In a study from 2009, omega-3s were found to reduce symptoms from ADHD by up to 50-percent in some people. If your kid refuses to touch salmon, then you can try plant-based sources of omega-3 fatty acids, such as canola oil, flaxseeds, Brussels sprouts, wild rice, winter squash, and broccoli.
