Staphylococcus Bacteria Are Contagious
One issue with staph bacteria is that they are easily transferable to one person or surface to the other. For this reason, it is important to do your best not to share things such as towels or pillows. Other main ways that people come into contact with these bacteria is through coughing, sneezing, and activities such as sports can spread the bacteria. Lastly, a staph infection can develop if using a tampon for longer than suggested (usually no longer than eight hours).
