A Deep Crease Down the Earlobe
If you look at people’s ears, you may notice that some people have a deep diagonal crease that runs along their earlobe. This seemingly irrelevant wrinkle in the skin has actually been linked to many heart problems. Research finds that those with a crease are more likely to end up dealing with heart attacks and other cardiovascular issues.
So far, the exact reason behind this correlation still is not understood. Researchers theorize that the creasing in the earlobe is due to a lack of elasticity. This lack of elasticity occurs in old age, and it may also make the arteries more brittle and likely to break.
