Tripe Palms
This rare condition gets its name from cooked tripe, which is made from the stomach lining of an animal. People with tripe palms have palms with thick, velvety white skin, and the skin tends to have very defined folds and ridges along the creases in the palms.
Tripe palms are very uncommon, but if you do notice you have them, you should visit a doctor as soon as you can. 90 percent of people who get this condition have some sort of cancer. The abnormally thickened palm skin happens because certain types of cancer can encourage the body to overproduce palm skin.
