Sudden Bouts of Anger
Almost everyone gets mad now and then, but it is not usual for people to find themselves yelling at loved ones, punching walls, or having fits of anger. Many sudden outbreaks of frustration are not normal, but they are not always a sign that you need to take some anger management classes. Irritability and anger are actually symptoms of many other problems.
Many people with depression experience anger instead of sadness. They might find themselves snapping at people or getting upset over the tiniest problems. Experiencing anger as a sign of depression is particularly common among men. Unreasonable anger can also be a sign of insomnia, drug withdrawal, or anemia.
