Tanning for no Reason
Have you mostly been spending time inside but your skin is getting darker? If you are getting tanned skin without having a reason for the tan, you have hyper pigmentation. Hyperpigmentation occurs when the skin begins to produce more pigmentation. It normally is not dangerous, but it can be a sign of a dangerous condition.
Hyperpigmentation is frequently caused by Addison’s disorder. This endocrine disorder occurs when the adrenal glands do not make the proper amount of cortisol, and it can cause skin to look brown, yellow, or orange. In addition to causing unusually tanned or yellowish skin, it can also cause weight loss, weakness, seizures, and dangerously low blood pressure.
