Unexplained Bleeding
Any sort of unexplained bleeding is serious enough to schedule a medical checkup right away. When blood shows up in places it should not be, it is a sign that some sort of problematic illness is occurring. If the unexplained bleeding occurs when you cough, it might be a sign that you have a very serious infection or other issue within your lungs.
Bleeding outside of the regular menstrual cycle can be caused by many different issues with the reproductive system. It can be a sign of uterine fibroids, polyps, or cysts. These sorts of things normally are benign, but they may develop into cancers if they are not promptly removed. Bleeding can also be a sign of cancer or kidney problems if the blood is in your urine.
If the blood is coming from your nipples, there are a few options. In some cases, it can be caused by a benign infection or growth in the breasts. In other cases, it may be a sign of breast cancer. Bloody stool can be caused by bleeding anywhere along the digestive tract. It can be due to hemorrhoids, rectal cancers, or colon polyps.
