Constantly Feeling Thirsty
Many people walk around chronically dehydrated, so getting enough water to drink is typically a good thing. However, it may be a cause for concern if you are constantly feeling thirsty. Always chugging water and having to go to the bathroom constantly may be a sign of the early stages of diabetes.
When a person is first developing diabetes, their body tries to manage the rapidly accumulating sugar in the blood. One method it will attempt is using a lot of water to flush out extra sugars with urine. Since constant thirst is one of the earliest symptoms of diabetes, you might want to talk to your doctor about doing a blood sugar test if this describes you.
