Diarrhea
Here is another symptom that take people afflicted with Meniere’s disease by surprise. Diarrhea is connected to vertigo and nausea. Worse, diarrhea can happen both during and after a flare up. If you are susceptible to nausea and diarrhea, it is important to stay hydrated throughout the day. Vertigo can also cause people to vomit. If you are hit with both diarrhea and vomiting, you will need to keep drinking fluids to avoid becoming dangerously dehydrated.
Luckily, diarrhea is far less common than other symptoms. There are other plenty of OTC medications to help control diarrhea, as well. Focus on easily digestible food as well. Once you start getting treatment, the chances of stomach upset and diarrhea becomes less and less, so you will be feeling better in no time.
On the flip side, if you are experiencing symptoms like dizziness and diarrhea without much of anything else, diagnosing your condition becomes arduous. The reason is that diarrhea and dizziness are rarely linked to the same cause. Therefore, you should pay close attention to your symptoms and mention anything can help whittle down the potential causes, including things like a family history of Meniere’s disease or previous experiences with vertigo.
