Cold Sweats
In the middle of a flare up, symptoms like diarrhea, nausea, dizziness, and even vomiting are possible. You might think you have caught a case of gastroenteritis or some other stomach bug, especially when you get hit with cold sweats. The causes of cold sweats are many, including pain, anxiety, hypoxia, hypoglycemia, hot flashes, and infection.
When it comes down to Meniere’s disease, cold sweats are connected with wavering pulses. You might notice that your heart rate rises and falls raggedly, and you may start to tremble. Then you start to feel nausea setting in as the vertigo worsens. The good news is that cold sweats can be controlled with treatment. Anti-nausea medication is typically prescribed to assist with cold sweats and other connected symptoms.
If you are experiencing nausea, vertigo, and are getting cold sweats—or even just have random cold sweats—it is important that you call a doctor immediately. Such symptoms can be connected with extremely serious medical conditions.
