Make Art Your Babysitter
If you don’t like the idea of letting your kids use video chat or electronics to keep themselves preoccupied while your work, you have other options. Art, for example, makes for a wonderful babysitter (and teacher). Stimulate your child’s imagination by giving them some art books, paints, construction paper, and other craft supplies.
For younger kids, keep it simple, like crayons and stencils. Non-toxic paints that won’t stain fabrics are great, too. Older children might enjoy at-home science projects. Just make sure to poke your head in once in a while to make sure they aren’t doing anything too crazy.
