Use The Pomodoro Technique
If you never heard of the Pomodoro Technique, you’re about to. This time-management strategy was first introduced in the early 1990s and calls for the deconstruction of larger tasks into smaller blocks of time, also known as Pomodoros—stemming from the tomato-shaped timer the technique’s inventor used.
To make use of the Pomodoro Technique, all you need is a timer of any shape or size. Set the timer to 25 minutes and get straight to work. Once the timer goes off, take a quick 5 minute break. Repeat this cycle 4 times, with the fourth break being the longest. During this time, you can go for a walk, play with your kids, grab something to eat, or do whatever else you need.
