Push Some Tasks Off Till Nighttime

If you are lucky enough to have a flexible schedule, then you can rearrange your work hours to fit in both childcare, housekeeping, and other job-related tasks. You might realize that your kids are more feisty throughout the day. In that case, play with them, tire them out, and then, in the evening when everyone is calm or tucked in bed, you can get to work then. This will also give you some time to bond with them and release some of your own stress.

While it might be difficult to sway from your own regular routine, try to be as forgiving and flexible as possible with yourself and others. This is a challenging time, after all. Just make sure that your boss is okay with you rearranging the hours you work!
