Low-Calorie Frozen Desserts
The sound of low-calorie frozen desserts such as low-calorie ice-creams may excite your sweet tooth. As much as the idea of losing fat while being able to enjoy ice-cream makes you want to run to the grocery store, beware! Such ice-creams are hardly keto-friendly. They usually contain between 15 to 28 grams of carbs per a ½ cup serving. And because they are low in calories, you can easily eat larger quantities increasing your calorie count and threatening ketosis. Substitute with low-carb, keto-friendly ice-cream and desserts such as unsweetened whip cream or dark chocolate. You can even make your own keto pumpkin cheesecake mousse.
