Loss of Appetite
Aside from gastrointestinal problems and discomfort, you may experience a sudden lack of appetite when you come down with the flu. This may be paired with sudden fatigue, headache, and a fever.
Even if you don’t feel like eating, you need proper nutrition to get through the flu as quickly as possible. Be sure to load up on healthy options like whole grain hot cereal, war soups, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat small, easily digestible meals if you are feeling nauseous or have had a bout of diarrhea.
