Stomach Acid and Heartburn

Ovarian cancer has a negative impact on the whole body. Pressure within the womb and ovaries, as well as fluid retention, will push against the stomach. Even when the stomach is not full with food, that pressure may cause the acid to rise into the esophagus, causing heartburn.
