Other Signs and Symptoms of Ovarian Cancer
Aside from having to run to the toilet more often, here are the early signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer. Commit these to memory, because it could one day save your life or the life of someone you love!
Persistent Abdominal or Pelvic Pain
Persistent pain is something you should never ignore, because it means your body is sending you a message that something is wrong. Very wrong. If you are feeling abdominal or pelvic pain alongside other symptoms on this list, it could mean that the cancer has spread out from the ovaries and into other surrounding tissues.
Ovarian cancer may also cause fluid retention, called ascites, which contributes to pain. Some women may also experience back pain in exchange for pelvic pain and feel constantly fatigued.
Others state that the pelvic pain feels much like menstrual cramps. This is caused by the growing tumor and is usually accompanied with other tummy troubles.
