Excessive Sweating
Do you feel like you just ran several miles under the summer sun? When you’re hot from a fever and also excessively sweating, it could be a sign that your body is starting to ramp up preventative measures against an invader. Remember, unless you have been exercising a lot or are menopausal, there is no reason for you to excessively sweat when at rest.
As an illness progresses, you may find yourself covered in sweat in the middle of the night as your body temperature rapidly fluctuates between hot and cold. If you haven’t experienced other symptoms yet, excessive sweating could be a sign of a viral infection.
