Fever
A fever is never a good sign. It is a clear sign that your body is currently battling against dangerous invaders and is raising your core temperature as part of its offensive. Whether you are dealing with what might just be a stomach bug or something more serious, a fever alone is reason enough to head to the doctor. Remember, the common cold rarely causes a fever.
< Do not dither if you have a particularly high fever, which is 101 degrees Fahrenheit and above. Anywhere about 104 degrees Fahrenheit can become a life-threatening ordeal, so be sure to keep yourself well hydrated and cool. Also, take some over-the-counter medication that helps reduce inflammation and fever.
