Brain Fog
The brain is arguably the most important part of the body and that being said it also needs protein in order to function normally since protein helps the brain develop certain neurotransmitters such as dopamine and norepinephrine that the brain synthesizes via amino acids. This synthesis occurs when the body digests protein and other nutrients.
When the brain does not get enough protein, it can cause an individual to experience what is known as brain fog. Some symptoms of brain fog include: trouble concentrating, difficulties learning new things, and an overall lack of motivation. If any of this sounds familiar to you, speak to your doctor in order to examine whether or not protein deficiency is to blame.
