Don’t Exercise Or You’ll Hurt The Baby
This suggestion has always been bizarre, in our opinion. Good muscle tone makes for a far easier pregnancy and delivery as it ensures that you will have the pushing power necessary to make it through the labor. It is strongly encouraged that you continue to do gentle exercises while you are expecting. In fact, if you are in good enough shape and have been cleared by your doctor you can continue to lift weights or do marathons if that is a hobby.
The only time that an expectant mother should skip exercising is when your doctor or midwife tells you that shouldn’t be working out. Otherwise, you are good to get up and get moving!
