Appetite Loss
With everything going on inside your body, you would think that you would feel more hungry. However, if you are one of those flu sufferers who deals with upset stomach, diarrhea, and vomiting, you probably won’t want to eat much of anything at all. Medications and fever, as well as a metallic taste in the mouth, will also limit your desire to eat.
That said, you need to eat in order to keep your body fueled for the offensive. Drink plenty of beverages, including water, hot tea, and broth-based soups. Avoid creamy soups if you are congested. If your stomach is unsettled, focus on foods that are easy to digest, such as toast, chicken, bananas, white rice, and boiled potatoes.
