Ovarian Cysts
Most common in younger women of childbearing age, ovarian cysts are like blisters that form on the ovaries. This fluid-filled sacs are much like other cysts that form around the body and are harmless until aggravated. However, when an egg is released, it could cause the cysts to rupture. Furthermore, if you feel dull aches or sharp pains during or after sex, as well as pressure in the abdomen, you could have ovarian cysts.
Although most people can live with ovarian cysts, you could potentially develop polycystic ovarian disease (PCD), which could cause your estrogen and progesterone levels to become unbalanced, leading to even more issues.
