Millet
I know we said we were talking about grains, but another seed has made it on our list. Millet, which is super popular in parts of Asia, India, and Africa and has been for over 10,000 years (which is even older than rice) is small but mighty.
It is high in both fiber and protein in addition to other beneficial nutrients like potassium and zinc. It also has a nutty flavor and comes in a variety of colours.
