Yoga
While yoga might appear as low impact and unexciting to those who have never done it, yoga can be strenuous and work up a sweat. Yoga, however, is for everyone, and there are levels and styles that are appropriate for everyone. Some of the most famous yogis are in their 80s and 90s, and they are still extremely flexible and fit.
But it’s not all about the twisting and balancing. Yogic—or deep—breathing has been found to fully oxygenate the body, right down to the cells, removing toxins, flushing the immune system, and making the skin look fuller and more radiant. As yogis like to say, there is truly a light in you after a yoga class.
An added benefit is stress reduction, which helps you sleep better and feel more energized throughout the day!
