Tai Chi
Like yoga, tai chi has been practiced for over 3,000 years. This traditional martial art was never meant to work like karate does. It is for healing the body and mind. In fact, one study from 2014 found when three groups of 25 year olds were broken into groups that did tai chi or brisk walking or nothing at all, those who did tai chi lowered their cellular ages. Researchers also found that those in the tai chi group also saw stem cells stimulated.
Tai chi has also been found to aid in Parkinson’s disease and fibromyalgia.
